• One way to do this is to pray daily that God's will be done. A Prayer Calendar, provided in the packet that each family received on Sunday, February 8, may be used as a guide for meditation and prayer. (Click on the image to the right for a downloadable copy.)
• Another way to support the campaign through prayer is to join with others in the twenty-four hour vigil to be held in the sanctuary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1. Many will wish to participate in the vigil in person; others will submit requests to guide the prayers of those who will be there.
PLEASE NOTE:
-- The large, rectangular sign-up card beginning with the word "Yes" (included in the packet distributed on February 8) is intended only for those who wish to volunteer as Prayer Vigil Facilitators. There is no need to sign up if you wish simply to come and pray.
-- The smaller, square prayer-request cards, also in the packet, may be filled out and sent in whether or not you are able to attend the vigil. Those at the vigil will use the cards to guide their prayers. [Note: The online prayer request feature was disabled at the time the church office closed on March 2.]
• A third way to support the Generations Campaign in prayer and study, is to grow in understanding about Christian stewardship and its place in our lives through Bible study. To this end, the Christian Education Division is offering a four-week series of Sunday School classes at every level. Please click on the link in the left sidebar for more information about these opportunities for spiritual growth and understanding.
